The first few minutes is like walking through the countryside on a summer evening.

For an album that's supposed to be a "bad" Wishbone Ash album, the majority of the tracks are great. Great guitar, vocal harmonies, funky in spots. I dig it.

Jesus, talk about running out of ideas. This is pap obviously gunning to be a "breakout hit," or what they'd call "viral" these days, but good GOD . . .

Hell of a guitar album. A marginalized Wishbone Ash album. To me it's a great twin guitar album.

I wonder why is the whole album so lousily recorded/produced? Even on a decent HiFi system my CD sounds as if listened from your neighbour's car audio, parked outside. Drums are like cardboard boxes, the voice is thin, guitars buzz like mosquitoes, bass is muddy. On _Argus_ , "Time Was" begins with fine audio quality but later the album fails as well in this department. Just why?! - considering these weren't 1940s or 50s any more?

The Eagles / Hotel Californiaの有名なソロを聴くとWishbone Ash/ Throw Down The Swordを思い出してしまう。4：11あたりが「あ〜あれね」

Very well put together solo, no wonder he was so proud of it

At age 13 I was taught one of the guitar harmony passages by my 14 year old friend, just so we could hear/play it together. What a powerful effect that has had on my whole life. Eventually another school mate learned the bass line to complete that grand feeling of “one voice” in musical performance.
